Hi All,
Is it possible to apply a user defined stereotype to a model element in a block definition diagram ??
I created a profile with few user defined stereotypes and applied it to the model that i want to(in this case a sysML block definition diagram). It was successfully applied to the model. When i tried to apply it to the block element in the model,I am unable to see the stereotype that i created in the Applicable stereotypes dialog box!
Am I missing something here ? can someone help me?
Regards,
Vishnu.

Hi,
The SysML diagrams may not be able to display properly all stereotypes. Since the display of SysML stereotypes is hard-coded, they can't be removed, and custom stereotypes are displayed separately. However, there shouldn't be any issue for applying custom stereotypes semantically (Independently of display issues)
Stereotypes may differ a little bit, depending on whether they are extensions of SysML Stereotypes, or just complementary stereotypes, especially in diagrams in which they are hard-coded (= SysML Diagrams). The Papyrus implementation of SysML 1.4 should solve some of these issues, but unfortunately it's not ready for prime time yet.
Regards,
Camille
