I'm using Eclipse Luna and as I'm working on two different computers, I wanted to install the project I'm working on on my new laptop.
I downloaded the git-repositories needed and wanted to set the target platform before starting to implement.
But when I click on luna.target, the resolving target platform fails and every locations shows up "Unable to locate installable unit".

As I do some research in the WWW, I found that it's probably a bug in eclipse and can be resolved by restarting/updating/cleaning the project...
But all of these steps didn't work for me.

The locations themselves should be right, because resolving the target platform on my first computer always works.

I'm desperate, please help me! Thank you in advance Smile

Hi Judith,

when you open the target platform definition, do you wait until it is
fully resolved before you set it (you can see that in the bottom right
corner, the progress indication area)

best regards

Jonas

Hey! Thanks for your answer.

Yes, I just open the target editor and wait.
It takes a few seconds and after that, every location fails.

I also checked the target defintion file in the text editor, but it's the same as in the version on my first computer...

Sounds a connection problem to me. Have you checked that you can
manually access the update site on the target platform (e.g. using the
install dialog in Eclipse).

Calling the urls by the installation dialog works.
If I double click on the locations in the target file, the appearing dialog also finds the url, but if I click finish, it fails again.

I just don't unterstand it ... Confused

It seems, that at least bundle in the targte cannot resolve. Maybe one
URL is only available in the network the other computer is in?

No this can't be the problem, as it also works on my computer at work...
May there be a relation to the last commits taken in the project? Because I haven't fetch the data on my old computer yet.
But normally that shouldn't be the problem should it? No changes had been taken to the target file - it is the same as the one on the old computer
