Hi,

I'm new to Eclipse and Subversive so forgive me if my question is silly.
I'd like to use a repository located on my local hard drive - as in the
subject. I've already created it using TortoiseSVN and I'd like to use it
as Subversive's New Repository Location. However, when I try to enter an
URL for this repository, it doesn't work and Subversive says that:

Location information has beend specified incorrectly.
svn: unable to open an ra_local session to URL...
svn: unable to open repository 'file:///C:/Users/Michał
Olejnik/Documents/PWr/Repo
svn: expected FS format '2'; found format '3'

The URL is correct (e.g. Netbeans works with it perfectly) and I have no
idea why this doesn't work. I'd be very grateful for any help, because I'm
planning to switch to Eclipse from Netbeans for a while, and being able to
control repository directly from IDE would be much more comfortable for
me. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello, Michał.

What SVN Connector are you using? Did you try to switch it?
I didn't try to create locations from tortoise, but after creating it with
command line client using --fsfs param everything is fine for Subversive.

Best regards, Alexei Goncharov.

Hello Alexei,

It actually was the matter of connector. I was using SVNKit 1.1.7 and when
I changed it to SVNKit 1.2.0 it worked. And it works with both types of
repositories - created with Tortoise and created from command line.

Thanks for help.
