Hello,

I started learning the basics of programming in Java and PHP for web. Unstill the moment I only use notepad++ and CLI.

Now, I'de like to move on and use eclips but I don't know in which order I have to install. I downloaded eclips for java developers, and then? Do I have to install and add PHP later?

Thanks in advance

You want:

Java for web use
PHP for web use

1. Download and install Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers package.
Visit this post https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/198527/ and
get Eclipse running. If you want more help, consider reading the notes
in http://www.javahotchocolate.com/notes/eclipse-jdk-tomcat.html.

2. Launch Eclipse and choose Help -> Eclipse Marketplace. Then type in
PHP and choose tools to add to the existing Eclipse package you just
downloaded.

3. Check out the Eclipse PDT forum for questions regarding using Eclipse
for PHP development, stay in this newcomers' forum for questions
regarding using Java (in Eclipse--ask purely Java questions elsewhere).

Hope this helps.
