Hello,
To display a diagram with a tree layout, under the diagram description
(at the same level than the layers) you need to create an "Ordered Tree
Layout" element (right click "New Layout> Ordered Tree Layout").
In the styles of your edge mappings, the "Routing Style" should probably
be set to "Tree" too, but it will work with the other routing styles too.
I don't think there is a sample in the default bundle, but there are
some in the test suite in the sirius git repository
(http://git.eclipse.org/c/sirius/org.eclipse.sirius.git).
org.eclipse.sirius.tests.junit\data\unit\layout\layouts.odesign is one
of them.
I don't think there are specific behaviors for the tools such as popup
tool or creation tool. Am I missing something from your question?
Regards,
Steve
