We bought a mine craft modding course from Youth Digital for my son and started it last night. When installing their package we had to install Eclipse. It installed fine and we were able to go thru the first video and then closed everything down for the night. This morning I can not find Eclipse in my Applications folder or anywhere. My Dock bar at the bottom had a big purple icon for Eclipse while we were working in it but I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone heard of this happening or know how I might find it?

Thanks in advance..

Kyle,

Maybe it ended up in your Downloads.

I checked the downloads folder and all I have is the MD1-Download-Pack-5.2.pkg (from youth digital) and Minecraft.dmg. While installing the package from Youth Digital is where it took me out to install Eclipse. I assumed it was installed because we ran thru an install and we were coding in the Eclipse IDE so I'm not sure what happened.

In the end, you downloaded a tar.gz and unpacked it (mounted it?)
somewhere, but I'm not so familiar with to say where you should look for
it now. Maybe the Desktop?

Thanks for tips! I looked to see if it was on Desktop or somewhere else and could not find it, but...

I opened my .MOD file from Youth Digital and using the MOD manager it automatically opened up Eclipse so I assume Eclipse is just loaded into this somehow and that's why I can't find it anywhere else on my computer. So I just have to open the .MOD file and I can use Eclipse!

Thanks for the responses!
