Hello all,

As release note of Sirius 2.0, You can specify that an edge end will always be centered. And there are The Centered Source Mappings and the Centered Target Mappings within the edge style description advanced properties tab. But after I upgrade to sirius 2.0, I find no option like that in advanced properties tab.

What should I do to get Edge Centering?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

This option is not located on the Edge Mapping but on its style
sub-element. Go to the Advanced tab and you have the new parameter "Ends
Centering" with the radio button options: None / Both / Source / Target.

Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve,

Thank you very much, but in the advance tab of edge style, I just have Size Computation Expression and Folding Style. I don't know why.

Hello,

Are you sure that the update to Sirius 2.0 worked? It might have failed
for some reason. This feature has definitely been contributed in Sirius
2.0 (see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=437528). Note
that this feature is not available for a sequence diagram, as the edge
source/target location has an ordering meaning.

Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve,

Currently I have a *.odesign file with sirius 1.0. Then I upgrade to sirius 2.0 by upgrade from update site.

Some new features in sirius 2.0 like Snap to Shape or Outline (automatically moves the displayed zone of the diagram) are work fine.

Is there anything else I need to migrate *.odesign file from 1.0 to 2.0?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I have to try to update from 1.0 to 2.0, because I do not see why this
feature would not be available for you. Can you tell me what exact
version you upgraded to? 2.0.4?

You just need to open you VSM (*.odesign), the migration is automatic.

Regards,
Steve

Hello,

How did you updated to Sirius 2.0? I have just updated a Sirius 1.0.0 to
Sirius 2.0 using the market place and it works fine. My VSM model now
display the "Ends Centering" option in the advanced tab of an Edge Mapping.

Regards,
Steve
