How do I model full ports in the ibd diagram - I was hoping I would be able to drag a port on top of a port to model this? is this available? Thanks!

Hi,

Papyrus currently supports SysML 1.1/1.2. FullPorts/ProxyPorts have been introduced in SysML 1.3/1.4

Papyrus 1.1 (In June 2015) will implement SysML 1.4

Regards,
Camille

I installed Papyrus 1.1 RC1 (Eclipse 4.5 RC2a) to test the announced SysML 1.4 capability. But I do not discover any SysML features newer than SysML 1.1.
Will SysML 1.4 be part of the final 1.1 release?

Hi,

SysML 1.4 is still under active development in Papyrus. It will not be part of the official release, but "may" be provided as an Extra-plugin in either Mars (June) or Mars SR1 (September), depending on the progress we can make on it

Regards,
Camille

Hi Camille,

thank you for the answer. I will continue to stay tuned.

BTW, if you need a tester for the sysml 1.4 editor, please feel free to contact me.

/Carsten

I have installed papyrus 1.1.2 RC3, but Nested Ports feature seems not yet implemented, is itcorrect? Papyrus 1.1.2 (in 25 September 2015) will implement SysML 1.4?

In addition, where can I find an example (or explanation) that shows how to apply a <<ItemFlow>> onto a connector of a IBD diagram?

Regards,
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

Papyrus Mars still officially provides SysML 1.1/1.2. The development of SysML 1.4 is still work-in-progress, and is a separate component (That can be installed in parallel to SysML 1.1/1.2). This extra component can be installed on top of Papyrus 1.1.1/1.1.2 (Mars SR1), but you need to do this manually.

Regards,
Camille

Hi Camille,

how can I get this separate component? Is there any example of model somewhere?

Thanks a lot,
Nicola

Hi,

Patrick gave you the link to the nightly build on hudson.
You will find the update site link in the description.

For information, the correct nighlty update site is here : https://hudson.eclipse.org/papyrus/view/Sysml/job/papyrus-sysml-nightly-build/ws/releng/org.eclipse.papyrus.sysml14.p2/target/repository/

I would recommend you to test with the nightly product, you can find the one you need here : https://hudson.eclipse.org/papyrus/view/Sysml/job/papyrus-sysml-nightly-build/ws/releng/org.eclipse.papyrus.sysml14.product/target/products/

If you got any problem you can fill a bug in the tracker.
Do not forget to Specify [SysML 1.4] at the start or the bug title
