Hello everyone
one of our customers is running JBoss on a Windows Server 2012 R2 (virtual Terminalserver 4CPU 2,6 Ghz, 16 Gb RAM).

1. The start of the JBoss Web-Server takes about 48 sec. (On a local machine: 24 sec with Windows 7 Core i5 CPU 8GB RAM). Are there Performance-Issues for JBoss on an virtual Terminalserver?

2. Jboss is used together with eclipse. The customer now tries to provide the application to JBoss. This Deployment takes about 3 minutes (1:53 on a local Machine)

It's best to ask the JBoss provider directly.

Thank you for the answer.
OK I will ask them. But are there Performance Issues to run eclipse on Terminalservers with several Accounts?

Bastian,

You mean basic Eclipse performance problems. I guess someone who has
used a Terminalserver would need to answer that. Maybe someone like
that will see your post...

I think 2 (physical) to 3 (virtual) minute delay changes are normal for virtualization. It's about 30%. We are noticing the same virtualization overhead using Vagrant.
