We would like to give a web based view to our release EMF Ecore data models with our API release. We have our javadocs and we can also export an image of the ecore diagram. However, for large models it is very hard to read these diagram and java doc doesn't give a good generic view.

I am wondering if there's any way to open a ecore file or ecore diagram file in a web browser. I found http://www.metamodelbrowser.org/ but this tool was developed bakc in 2007 and I am not sure if it an be used now.

Do you know any similar tool?

Roza,

You should be able to export a diagram to SVG, which is a pretty nice
scalable format for browser-based viewing.

Hi Roza,
I you want just to have a tree based view with properties then I would think there is a way to do this in the Web version of ECP.
I would think it would be possible to have something like the attached picture from the web link you provided http://www.metamodelbrowser.org/images/simpleumlmeta.jpg if that is enough for your requirements.
Regards,
Neil
