Hello,

I am currently using the Default implementations of EMFCompare match/diff engine to compare two EPackageRegistry objects for differences. This is being used to detect model changes. One issue I have run into is if a EClass's EStructuralFeature list is reordered, the EMFCompare matcher/diff engine does not catch this change.

Can I extend EMFCompare to include this change?

I recommend you to use the latest EMF Compare stream (3.x). You can download it via http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/compare/updates/releases/latest
