Hi All Guru's,
I have created a birt report and generating it using birt viewer. It works fine when i eport the report to any format(html, docx, excel, etc..) .
But when i try to export data for the report in CSV format the column names in CSV file are reflecting as column names in DB table column names and not what i specified in rptdesign.
Please help me.

When exporting the data, it's exporting the bindings, not the report design. This would be why you're getting what you're getting. You could create a csv emitter or use this one from an old contest that was done on the BIRT Developer Center:

hi Michael, when i use this CSV export with BIRT version 4.3.1 the header is coming fine as per the display name, but when i use the same jar in Actuate 11SP4 Fix 3 version, i get the binding column names. Do you have any idea on this?
