Hi

In my company we have a community. So can i connect BIRT Report Designer with that community and create the reports from the information present in the community. Please suggest some solution.

Where is the information stored? Do you have an API or URL to connect
and retrieve data? If so the answer is yes.

I want to know which API or URL will use to connect with Community. Information stored as a list in the community.

I have not tried this but if you can access a sharepoint list from Java,
like:

You should be able to call those same Java Classes from BIRT using a
Scripted Data Source. If the share point list can be accessed using a
Web Service you could also use the BIRT Web Service data source.

I tried with to create data source using web service data sources. When i am testing the connection it is showing "ping succeded". But when i am creating data set i am getting this error " WSDLException: faultCode=PARSER_ERROR: Problem parsing 'site_name'.: The prefix "ie" for element "ie:menuitem" is not bound."

No it's not a public web service. You can't access the site.

It will be difficult to determine what is wrong without being able to run it. Can you try the example in this dev share entry?
