I have reported a BIRT bug that appears to cause all queries to run twice.

This is a major performance issue for my group. Is there any hope that this
would be evaluated and a fix included in a stable release within the next
month? If not, i need to consider creating my own patch. Can anyone give
me a rough idea which set of components is likely responsible for the
problem?

I am interested in a solution as well.

Unfortunately, I believe I won't be able to help right now for the
resolution...
