SWT for Eclipse 3.4.2 will not install [message #711035]

I am trying to get SWT or swing installed on Eclipse 3.4.2 on a mac 10.4. I have tried to install a new plugin by navigating to the swt-3.7-cocoa-macosx.zip file, but the system complains that there is no repository at the jar file.

Swing could be used but the import java.swing fails also.

The "no repository found at the jar file" has put a show stopper on this project. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have been able to get swt to work by adding the org.eclispe.swt package to the package explorer. Then by doing the import org.eclispe.swt.SWT; statements I have been able to get this to work.
