How to use org.eclipse.compare with RAP [message #645782]

Hello Everybody:

I am in process of converting an RCP application to Eclipse RAP. The application uses org.eclipse.compare plug-in as it is shipped with Eclipse Platform. However, it seems that there is no equivalent in the RAP Platform. Can someone give me a hint where to look at?

Hi Stefan,
the org.eclipse.compare plug-in has a dependencies to:
- org.eclipse.jface.text
- org.eclipse.ui.ide
- org.eclipse.ui.workbench.texteditor
- org.eclipse.ui.editors
which are missing in RAP. Unfortunately, it is a lot of work to port
them to RAP too (if it's possible at all, because at least StyledText is
not available in RAP).
