What determines the order of attributes in artifact editor? [message #574133]

I have added some additional attributes to my "Signal" artifact. These are
working fine but I'm intrigued by the order they appear in the Attributes
tab of the Artifact Editor. They are neither alphabetical nor by attribute
index. What determines their order please, as I'd like to put related ones
together?
