I can see why people retreat to the command line in the face of such an unfriendly program

my question is
How do I compile a Java Card to a CAP??

'convert' looked handy but it was GREYED OUT

so I reinstall jcdk - which involves looking inside a zip to find where to unzip, we are referred to a doc which has a WRONG name.
We are then told to set JC_HOME (ugh!) which is in fact WRONG
it says java_card_kit-2_2_2
whereas it must be java_card_kit-2_2_2\bin for the very first demo 1 example to run.....

is anybody home???

Perhaps you should direct your comments to the developers of the jcde. That
appears to be a tool developed on top of Eclipse. This forum deals with
Eclipse itself and the tools provided by the Eclipse foundation. The
members of this forum aren't likely to be involved in the development of the
tool you are refering to.
