Problem with SWT designer on Mac [message #533699] Sat, 15 May 2010 13:58
Eclipse UserFriend
I tried the latest Eclipse on MacOS 10.6 and installed the Visual Editor Project to be able to design SWT GUI's in the designer. But when trying to create a new file with swt gui with Visual Editor Project, Eclipse just hangs when trying to draw the GUI in Eclipse.
I know that I have to add -XstartOnFirstThread when running swt apps on Mac. Maybe I somehow have to add this somewhere to make Eclipse drawing the GUI in the Visual Editor Project designer? Or is it any other problems?
Anyone that has any ideas? Has someone got it to work on other Mac's or other platforms?
Thanks in advance!
