Hello,
I apologize if this is documented somewhere - I couldn't find it anywhere.
When focus is on the palette, is there a keyboard accessible way to create a
connection between two shapes (without using the mouse)?
In logic example, you can select the connection tool by pressing space bar,
then set the focus back to the keyboard using "Tab", but then the keyboard
and/or arrows keys seem to be ignored? Is there a key sequence to enter
accessibility mode similar to the handles accessibility?
Same goes for regular shape tools - I can select it, but then can't do
anything else via keyboard.

There should be, please open a bugzilla. We can add similar keyboard
support.

In 2.0, this was up to the application. For 2.1, the intended solution is
that you Control+C the item from the palette, and Paste it into the diagram.
Then you can adjust the position using the accessible handles. The initial
"constraint" of the pasted item will be up to the application to determine,
probably.
