Is it possible to open the SWT FileDialog in the details view [message #484964]

A customer has requested the FileDialog open in the details view. I could
not find a method in the documentation to do this, is it possible to do?

Hi,

I'm not sure which Details view you mean, but if the point is to embed the
FileDialog's content into a view then no, this isn't possible. The native
file dialog always opens in its own shell.

Thanks for your response.

I am refering to the detailed file view that is available from the view menu
of the dialog. It shows file size and creation date and other file info.

Ok, I see. There isn't api to do this either ;-). Looking at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms646839(VS.85).aspx I don't see a
flag for this, so I don't think that win32 provides a way to do this.
