how to create a stand alone plugin foom EMF model [message #431458]

Hello.

I have created an EMF plug-in, and I want to move it
to a different Eclipse that users will be able to work with it.
My plug-in name is called "TESTING", so I have 5 folders :
TESTING,TESTING.diagram,TESTING.edit,TESTING.editor,TESTING. tests.

I tried to export all of them to JAR and then move it to the new Eclipse
program
in the "plugins" folder. The Eclipse doesnt seems to recognize the plug-in.

Can someone please tell me how to do it properly or give me a tutorial
link.

Elad,

You need to export the 5 plugin projects with the "Deployable Plugins
and Fragments" wizard.

Thanks for the quick answer.

Do I need to put the JAR file in a folder inside the plugins? should I add
the plugin.xml to that folder?

Sorry, I have no clue what you mean by this ;-(
Maybe you should google a bit. Or start here:

I export the 5 folders to the plugins directory.
The work environment looks like my plug-in. But when I try to open a new
diagram file ( which is my emf based file ) I only see "Example EMF Model
Creation Wizards" and inside a file type named "Test Model" which
contains only the EMF element and not the graphic model.
How can I see my graphic model when I want to create a new diagram.

when choose to create the "Test Model" it tells me to choose a "Model
Object" which is an element from my EMF.
Why is he asking that instead of opening my original diagram file?
