Workbench tutorial project in Eclipse SDK [message #267884] Wed, 21 January 2009 06:50 Go to next message

I installed Eclipse SDK 3.4.1 under Ubuntu 8.04 and downloaded the
workbanch_tutorial.zip file from Sourcefourge. I "Imported" the .zip file
as instructed in order to work with on it together with the video tutorial
provided in the same web page. The compressed project imported normaly
after browsing to the folder the file was saved and pressing the "Next"
button of the Import Wizard. After a brief view of the video and some work
with the project imported I closed my computer properly and went away from
it for a while. A few hours later I decided to go on with the tutorial and
did again File-->Import in order to import once again the above .zip file.
I found out that the "Next" button remains dim and so I cannot proceed
importing the project and continue the tutorial!
Is this the normal way to continue with the workbench tutorial, did I do
something wrong or is it a bug...?

Thanx for your patience!

Did you actually complete the import the first time? If so, the project
is now in your workspace and you can't import it again (I think the
import wizard does not show projects that are already in your workspace,
and so it can't continue as there is no project to import). Do you see
the imported project when you first start Eclipse?

Hope this helps,
Eric
