Hi all,

This is the first time I am using Eclipse. Every time I press "tab" key to
indent my source, eclipse insert "tab" character instead of 4 spaces as I
already unchecked in Windows -> Preferences -> Java -> Code Fomatter ->
Style -> Indentation is presented by tab.

I would like eclipse inserts 4 spaces instead of "tab" character so that i
can view my source code in other text editor.

Thanks for your helps.

Go to Java -> Editor -> and you'll find it in there.
Each editor, including Ant, and regular editors have settings for this. The
Java Editor has the option to use spaces/tabs. The ant/regular just allow
you to change the tab size.

Also, if you enable Java->Editor->Typing Tab, "Tab indents current
line", tab will indent the current line.

Thank you very much.

This works with my Eclipse 2.1 But in my company, I use WebShere Application
Developer 4.0.3, this is not applied

Is there any idea for WSAD 4.0.3?
