Is it possible to access the search API through org.eclipse.egit.github.core?

I'd like to conduct a search for specific files across the whole of GitHub.

Kohsuke's API allows this but in my case I'm having issues iterating the complete set of results, so I'd like to use your API instead.

As far as I can see only searching for issues and repositories is implemented.
Maybe you want to contribute that ?
