Category information is not added to content.xml [message #1631027]

Hello to the forum members,

I am trying to write ant script to build and publish some plugins that my team is developing. I am using eclipse.publish.featuresAndBundles ant task with the argument site. When I look in the output of ant I see:
[eclipse.publish.featuresAndBundles] Generating metadata for ..
[eclipse.publish.featuresAndBundles] Generation completed with success [1 seconds].

However, when I set a site pointing to the files I created I get "there are no categorized items" message. I tried comparing the results of running build from Eclipse UI from updateSite project and saw that in content.xml the category information was added and in my ant build it was not.

I'll be grateful for your thoughts about any reason that category information was not added to content.xml.
