I'm having an issue where Eclipse's 'check for updates' feature is not registering any new updates, yet looking at the repository confirms the new version (different from the installed version) and installing the new software works fine.

What could be the issue?

There's nothing out of the ordinary in the .log file either as related to p2.

It looks to me that you have the latest SmartConstraint installed. 1.1.1 > 1.0.0? Or am I missing something?

Installed is 1.1.0, and while 1.1.1 is available, Eclipse is not thinking it is an upgrade Confused

Oops, time to get my eyes checked!

What happens if you try to manually install the new versions?

Is that p2 site ticked in Preferences > Install/Update > Available Update Sites? (Only sites that are ticked are checked for updates.)

Manually installing the new version is all OK.

It is checked in there. I think if it wasn't checked, it wouldn't be available for software installation as well, wouldn't it?
