Hello,
how does the engine render HTML? I would like to write my own export.
Where should I look for a starting point? Does BIRT use XSLT for the
transformation?

Greetings,
Nima

You write your own emitter. Emitter is an extension point for BIRT, so
you write emitter just like you write other plugins. Check out how the
current HTML/PDF emitters are written.

BIRT does not use XSLT.

How do I register my own emitter so that I can use it inside birt?
