Hi,

I have a plugin which reads certain parts of the file system and presents
them to the user in a JFace TreeViewer. Currently, the TreeViewer is
populated at about the same time my Application window is being created.
When I launch my plugin from Eclipse, nothing happens for about 30 seconds,
and the ApplicationWindow does not display until the tree has been
populated.

How can I have the application window open immediately and display some type
of "content loading" message, then automatically refresh when the tree
contents have finished loading? Or is there any way I can preload my domain
objects as soon as Eclipse loads?

Thanks,
Denise
