How to configure CacheIndex wirth native ORM project ? [message #1541965]

A cache index (@CacheIndex) allows singleResult queries to obtain a cache hit when querying on the indexed fields.

This functionality is available since eclipselink 2.4.

Documentation (www.eclipse.org/eclipselink/documentation/2.5/jpa/extensions/a_cacheindex.htm) describe its usage with JPA API (annotation and ORM.xml) but not ORM core API.

Can you please provide an exemple of use with core API.

Our projects need this functionality but are native toplink (ServerSession, Descriptor, UOW ...)

We use EclipseLink 2.5.2
