Eclipse writes to Dropbox folder [message #1302314]

Search for "Dropbox" on this forum didn't show anything.

During first run, Eclipse Standard 4.3.2 creates 2 files in the dopbox folder.

"...\Dropbox\shellext\l\53514c92"
and
"...\Dropbox\shellext\l\535001e2"

(I'm not sure if it's safe to post their contents here so I won't for now.)

Anyone knows purpose of this?

What makes you say that Eclipse is creating those files? Eclipse itself doesn't know anything about Dropbox. Perhaps you have installed a third-party plugin that might be doing that?

No plugins, clean fresh install.

I probably should have mention it straight away, but now I realised opening a project from dropbox folder. However this still does not explain what's happening:

set APPDATA=...\eclipse\data
eclipse.exe
* open project from ...\UserFolder\Dropbox\Folder\Folder\Project1\ *
* new files appear in ...\eclipse\data\Dropbox\shellext\l *

I'm just trying to understand this behavior.

This is not a problem created by Eclips
'Dropbox' creates files in %appdata%Dropbox .....

If i do this:
set APPDATA=c:\temp
"c:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\notepad++.exe"
c:\users\luuk\dropbox\test.txt

than i also see a folder c:\temp\Dropbox being created.... ;)
