could you make available or in alternative point me to an example where I can see how the specification of "New Element Creation -> Edge Creation Description" works ?

You will find some documentation about edge tools in:
* [1] Sirius Specifier Manual > Diagrams > Layers and Graphical Elements
> Edges > Edge Tools > Edge Creation Tool
* [2] Sirius Specifier Manual > Diagrams > Tools

The sample plugin org.eclipse.sirius.sample.ecore.design brings an Ecore
Graphical Modeler based on Sirius. Its Viewpoint Specification Model
(VSM) named ecore.odesign contains several EdgeMapping with the
corresponding EdgeCreationDescription. It should show you how edge
creation tools work.

Hi,

On the tutorial page [1], you will also find the resulting modeler which
contains several mappings and tools samples.

If you click on 'Download the resources used by this video', the
differents resources used in the video can be donwloaded:
* the Family DSL [2]
* a sample model [3]
* the resulting modeler [4]
