Okay, so I was pointed towards Eclipse by a friend of mine, have
downloaded the program and am going through the tutorials. I love it
already, but I'm having a couple problems.
One - When I've downloaded a new plugin in a .zip file (like the visual
editor), do I just unzip it in the eclipse directory to install the
plugin? I did so, and haven't noticed any difference in the program..do I
have to 'officially' install plugins somehow? Is there a better way than
to download the .zip files? How the heck do I get to the visual editor?
Two - Randomly, when I'm running Eclipse...the program seems to dump on
me. It first says 'javaw has created a general protection fault' or
something along those lines, and then I get similar errors for programs I
have running in the background...then my computer locks up, and it's
reboot time. I've got the latest JRE, and I've tried nixing all the
programs running in the background. I've also tried running it on my
laptop, and it produces the same results.
My desktop is running sweet windows 98 with the 1.4 JRE.
My laptop is running windows ME with the same JRE.
Anyone else experienced these wacky problems?

Ah, I forgot to mention the 'general protection fault' is always caused in
'user.exe'...and any other error I get for other programs running in the
background also seem to be in 'user.exe'
