eclipse team project set with egit [message #1249234]

when i use eclipse import->team->team project set to import a psf file,it reports
"Invalid project description overlaps the location of annother project ".i found the question because egit use the working dir which eclipse is using for working space.but i can not change the egit work dir because when i import a .psf file ,egit set the work dir automatically .

anyone help me??

try to edit your psf file before importing it and instead of "." specify a project path relative to the workspace, e.g.

<project reference="1.0,https://github.com/fuduhui/gitdemo2.git,master,my.project.path"/>

i do as you said,replace "." with a path （i call it "path A"）,but a new error appears "failed to read project description".i think "path A" can be any path which exists in the system.the attachment shows the detail errores

the specified path should be relative to the root of the repository's working tree (don't use /..)
