Unresolved dependency on org.eclipse.gmf.tooling.runtime [message #1076619]

At some point GMF generation started to add the dependency on org.eclipse.gmf.tooling.runtime to the generated diagram project. This obviously cannot be resolved in Indigo, as tooling is not part of the GMF feature and is not on the update site. Does anyone know how to resolve this and why there was no this dependency before in GMF?
