birt-viewer in 2.0: frameset? [message #107384] Wed, 11 January 2006 11:05 Go to next message

Hello,

In BIRT 2.0RC1 birt-viewer, there is again a frameset servlet but there is
no left frame for asking the user for parameters... is this dropped or can
I find this feature anywhere?

And where can I fnid any documentation for BIRT 2.0 at all?

Regards,
Paul

It's an icon at the top of the screen where the printer is. Mouseover will
show.

Thank you,

in my opinion it was better to have the parameter form open on the left
without having to click...

Additionaly: The __format=pdf parameter seems to be ignored. I think in an
earlier version of BIRT I had the parameter form open on the left and the
pdf output in the main frame. Is this also possible with BIRT 2.0?

Best regards
Paul

I would like the option of having the form display automatically. I have
situations where both possibilities are useful. Perhaps the option could
be triggered by a parameter.
