Hi folks,

I've been using the PDT 0.7 with XDebug support for a few months and I was
very pleased with it, but decided to switch to latest 1.0 M1 to test new
features and help discovering bugs.

The thing is that I can't get the xdebug support running - on the proposals
page there's an entry " Generic GUI for Zend Debugger and XDebug", but I
can't get it working.

I've setuped eclipse to use port 9000 (the same port is in php.ini) with
dbgp protocol.

It doesn't break on first line, nor on breakpoints.

Regards,
Emil Ivanov

There isn't any support for XDebug built into PDT 1.0 M1. Due to changes in
PDT 1.0M1, the current version of XDebug support on Bugzilla won't work with M1.

Thanks for the answer Dave.

Are there plans to have xdebug support in M2?

Not sure at the moment. Need to see how 1.0.0 progresses with respect to
including xdebug support as part of the PDT package.

I don't know how much effort is required as I haven't looked at
M1. At the moment I want to keep working with 0.7Rc3 so don't
plan to move to M1 just yet.
