This article was written the year I developed for Android using Eclipse
Galileo. I can really only speak to that. What's happened between
Eclipse and Android since I cannot say.
I did not find the emulator (which isn't anything to do with Eclipse
because it was from Google) a problem. I was mostly happy developing on
Eclipse.
Here was my experience. I'm sure it's very old now and I suspect the
tutorial I was using to get started doesn't exist anymore or doesn't
exist in the same format.
