Luca,
How conforming XML processors locate schemas is not very well defined in
the specification. I can explain how the XSD model does it but given
you're using something else, you'd need to ask the provider of that
tool. Generally if the schemaLocation is a relative URI you should
expect it to be resolved against the URI of the schema containing that
relative URI to produce an absolute URI at which the referenced schema
is expected to exist...
