E.g., in German, SIG Eclipse:

http://www.jugs.de/veranstaltung-07-02-06.html

There are now groups for commercials, EclipseCon, etc, but not for Events.

Frank.

There seems to be a lot of newsgroups. Is there a reason why we shouldn't
just agree to use this one for events?

How about have a prefix of [Event] <insert event here> on the postings?

There is also an Eclipse webpage for events:
http://www.eclipse.org/community/events/

Hey Dennis, how about turning the events page into an RSS feed so you
can plug it into planet.eclipse.org? That may be an effective way of
notifying people of events? Thoughts? Should we file a bug for it?

Cheers,

Chris

I thought the Events page already was RSS-driven.

I like the idea. By all means, please file a bug for this.

Thanks.
