building workspace blocks user operation [message #290511]

I cannot pinpoint what has caused this to start, but as of the last few
days Eclipse has been reporting this error and the window does not go
away. I have to kill the process every single time. I am using the
lastest (Eclipse 3.1) with JDK 1.4.2_08.

This isn't an error. It is what exactly it says- a workspace build operation
is active which is blocking user input.
