Hi,
I have Eclipse 3.1.0 with CDT 2.1.1 running on Solaris x86. I use java
1.4.2.
Always when I try to link my project (really large project) Eclipse
crashes together with my xserver. I than have to login again and restart
all my applications. I had the same problem with Eclipse 3.0.1.
I have no idea what to to, maybe it runs out of memory but that is just
a guess. I start eclipse as follows:
eclipse -vmargs -Xmx512M
Is there anybody with an idea what to do to solve the problem.
Thanks,
Michal

Crashes usually generate a VM error log. If you can find that error log
(often called javacore... or hs_err_...), please file a bug report and
attach the log file.
