repost: How to associate a file type with a PERSPECTIVE and not with an Editor [message #289545]

Hi,

I want open a perspective if a user double click on a file.
Can I configure this in the plugin.xml or must I open
a 'ghost' editor and in the init method swith to the perspective
(and close the editor silently)?
