I have java 1.4.2_04 sdk installed.I tried installing eclipse 3.0.2 on my
PC. But I got an error message asking me to view the contents of the file
1123375023378 in the configuration folder.

You may have java 1.4.2_04 installed, but your system path has a
1.3.1_01 vm prior to the 1.4.2 vm. You should search the newsgroup
before posting questions. This question comes up quite often.

You need to supply the path the the 1.4.1 vm to eclipse on startup with
the -vm argument.
