Hi,

I'm using eclipse 3.4 for my development env and there's another
installation of eclipse 3.4 containing a few additional bundles from
orbit, and another one bundled by me (org.hamcrest). I've dropped them
into the target's plugin folder, and not inside dropins.

The target platform preference page does not list these additional bundles.

However if I execute eclipse from the target platform and then reload
the target platform, I suddenly see 5 new more bundles appear.

While this is not blocking me from any work. Could someone answer my
curiosity as to why this happens ?

This could be related to the new target platform preference and p2:

Ouch! It's becoming hard with all these options in the preference panes.

Should that checkbox not be unchecked for the 99% of us who're still
using the good old style of working ?
