Hi
I noticed this tip from the "Mylyn 2.0, Part 1: Integrated task management"
getting started guide:

I assumed that this would bypass the repository and (bugzilla) product
selection dialogs and I was confused before I realised that the correct
repository and product were selected but I still had to click on the Next
and Finish buttons.
Is there any reason why Mylyn couldn't open the new task or query editor
directly if I invoke 'New Task' or 'New Query' from the context menu?
Cheers,
Paul.

Hi Paul,
This is a common use case, and what we would ideally like to have is
that if a New Task creation is invoked via the Task List's context menu
on a selection than the wizard is bypassed. For example, if you invoke
on a JIRA Task a subtask can be created. If you invoke on a Bugzilla
query the Product/Component/Email attributes are set to match those
specified in the query. This is bug:
203471: [uex] streamline new task creation from context menu with selection
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=203471
Please consider voting for it.
