I am brand new to Eclipse (forced out of Homesite 5.1 by Adobe's insatiable greed.)
Is there any way to set preferences to always have line wrap turned on when opening files? Also, for some reason, the icon on the tool bar doesn't always function and the only way to get it to work again is close the entire program and reopen it. Very aggravating. An ideas?

No, depending on which type of file you're editing, there may be a
formatter which can break lines in a semantically meaningful way,

Which icon?

Which toolbar?

What function does it have when it functions?

There are many toolbars each with many controls, so it's impossible to
guess which one you might be referring to...

Sorry, I forgot how universal Eclipse is. I was referring to the toolbar that comes up in CFeclipse which includes an icon for wordwrap. It is functional on opening the program but, for reasons unknown to me, ceases to function while I am in the process of editing or opening a new file.
Perhaps the problem is that I've been unable to locate an extremely basic tutorial that specifically teaches the use of Eclipse for creating and editing CFML files. As I mentioned, I've used Homesite 5.1 for the last ten years and am unfamiliar with any other environment. I am unlikely to live long enough to complete all the tutorials for JAVA, and who knows how many purposes this monstrously powerful environment can handle until it gets around to what I want.
Is there any tutorial that teaches CFML development only?

Davd,

CFEclipse isn't an Eclipse hosted project so best you get direct help
from those people
