we are using BIRT for reporting ,
we wanted to create a report with count of each group of values in column
please check example with jqxgrid example

here we have group of values count

we wanted similar way (expression ) in birt to get count of values in column.

If I understand your question, wouldn't the Aggregate object with 'Count' give you what you are looking for?

i wanted this functionality will be provided for all reports.
report should be look like this on click on some button .
index.php/fa/20246/0/

So how to write aggregate expression on column with different set of values(which are not known at time of creation) ?
