Hi All,
Iam running BIRT 371 report and it is running fine on BIRT Designer but when same report iam running on MAXIMO 7.5.0.4 then it is taking long time to run.
Ex: BIRT Designer taking1 min for more than 5000 records.
MAXIMO taking 45 min for more than 5000 records and some time got blank.

If i restart maximo server then from maximo report took only 1 min .

Any idea??

Not sure, but it sounds like a Maximo problem, not a BIRT problem. Have you asked in the Maximo forums?

If this report runs quickly just after a server restart and is longer after some time, it typically looks like a memory issue: your Maximo server does not have enough memory to handle all app & caches loaded and has to trigger many garbage collectors. Increase "Heap memory" as much as you can depending if the server is 32 bits or 64bits, and set "Permgen memory" to 512 Mb or more. As suggested by Michael Maximo forums probably provide recommendations related to memory setup.

Thank you so much for your reply.
I have already increase heap memory upto 2048. But i dnt know how to increase or set "Permgen memory" to 512 Mb in maximo application .
