Hello everybody,

does Jubula recognize changes of the java project that has to be tested?

Or is it possible to set the test properties via the command line in windows?

My idea:
I would like to write a bah file that:
-recognize if a java project has changed
-convert the project into a new executable jar file
-set the test properties and bring the executable jar up to date
-run the test

Do you if I could set the test properties via commandline or if there is another way?

Thank you for your help!

Anna

Hi there,

It depends a bit on what you want to do, I think:
- if your AUT is the object where Jubula should recognize changes and then run a test, then I think this should be possible (although I wouldn't entirely understand the use case!)
- if you mean that a Jubula test should be triggered when changes have been made, and after rebuilding and deploying the AUT - then I'd suggest using a tool like e.g. Hudson that can react to commits and trigger jobs like the one you mention.

If I've misunderstood you, let me know.

Best regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,

thank you very much for your quick reply.

I understand the performance of Jubula while I was trying to explain my question to you...^^ Thank you!
Jubula is working well. I understand that the test execution depends on the path of the executable file in the aut configuration, and so Jubula recognizes very well if the project has changed.

Thank you very much for your efforts and services,

Anna

Hi Anna,

I'm glad I could help, if indirectly! Smile
